Black Protocol: Black Obsidian, Black Labradorite & Refined Copper Bracelet for Men
Couldn't load pickup availability

Black Protocol is a black obsidian and black labradorite bracelet for men, with silver-tone hematite, Japanese TOHO colored-glaze and a fishhook clasp. Its refined copper components have a 14k white gold coating, adding a separate metal finish to the dark material combination.
A dark wardrobe can still include different surfaces. Black Protocol brings several materials into that familiar palette. Choose it when you want grey and metallic contrasts in a black bracelet, especially beside a steel watch or black leather strap.
Why combine several dark materials?
Black obsidian supplies the deep black character, while black labradorite brings a smoky grey impression through the dark palette. Silver-tone hematite adds metallic contrast, with Japanese TOHO colored-glaze as a further detail. The result gives a charcoal or navy sleeve more variation than an uninterrupted black accessory.
What are the materials and metal finish?
- Black obsidian.
- Black labradorite.
- Silver-tone hematite.
- Japanese TOHO colored-glaze.
- Body components in refined copper with a skin-friendly, tarnish-resistant 14k white gold coating.
- A refined copper fishhook clasp with a skin-friendly, tarnish-resistant 14k white gold coating.
The copper body components and fishhook have the same stated coating. Silver-tone hematite is another material in its own right. If you are specifically shopping for sterling silver, note this distinction: Black Protocol's metal construction is coated refined copper, and its silver-colored details should be understood in those terms.
Black obsidian should also be kept distinct from black onyx when comparing designs. Similar colors do not make the stones interchangeable. Compare the full combination and clasp with simpler, single-material designs.
How can Black Protocol work with everyday clothes?
For a day that moves from the office to dinner, try it with a charcoal shirt and a navy jacket. The bracelet keeps the palette dark while bringing detail near the cuff. A watch with a black leather strap makes a natural companion, especially if you place it on the opposite wrist.
With weekend clothing, a washed cotton overshirt and dark trousers give the different materials an informal setting. If the overshirt has a strong pattern, wear the bracelet alone. If the clothing is plain, one understated ring can echo the metal without making the accessories feel like a set.
There can be a small pleasure in changing just one thing before heading out: swapping a work shirt for a knit top and fastening the bracelet for the evening. Black Protocol belongs to the Urban Stoic Series, but its personal meaning can be as ordinary as that shift from appointments to time spent with people you chose to see.
Which size should you choose?
Wrist circumference options are 15 cm, 16 cm, 17 cm, 18 cm, 19 cm and 20 cm, plus Customized Size. Wrap a flexible tape around the bare wrist where the bracelet will sit. Keep the tape against the skin without pulling it tight.
Choose the nearest whole-centimeter wrist option and round an exact half up: 17.4 cm selects 17 cm; 17.5 cm selects 18 cm. Do not add extra centimeters for wearing room. You can order using your own measurement; customer service is available if you would like help.
Follow the men's bracelet size guide to measure your bare wrist. If the rounded size is not listed, choose Customized Size and provide your actual wrist circumference. See the Return & Refund Policy for custom-size conditions.
The selected wrist measurement is different from the bracelet's finished length. A gift buyer should obtain the recipient's wrist measurement, particularly if the bracelet will often be worn beside a watch.
Use the fishhook directly when putting the bracelet on or taking it off. Support the adjacent components rather than pulling on the stone sections, and avoid repeatedly bending the hook. With a watch, leave enough separation that the clasp and case do not rub together as your wrist moves.
How do you care for stones and coated copper together?
Remove Black Protocol before showering, swimming, strenuous exercise or work that involves hard impacts. Keep perfume, lotion and household chemicals away from the bracelet. After wearing, wipe the assembled piece gently with a clean, soft cloth.
Store it separately from abrasive surfaces and other jewelry. Avoid strong metal polish, chemical dips or aggressive rubbing on the coated components. The coating is described as tarnish-resistant; a gentle routine and less friction help you look after its surface without treating it as an uncoated solid-metal piece.
What else helps with the decision?
Is it a useful gift for someone who mostly wears black?
It can be, particularly if they enjoy differences in material more than bright color. Notice whether they prefer a clasp and whether their usual accessories have cooler metal finishes. Those observations, together with the right wrist measurement, make the choice specific to them.
Should you wear it alone or in a stack?
Start alone so you can appreciate the individual materials. If adding another piece, keep the combination comfortable and leave room for the fishhook. A quieter companion lets the obsidian, labradorite and hematite remain the main interest.
CRAFTSMANSHIP & NATURAL MATERIALS
Every piece is made and finished by hand at ASIA NOBLE STUDIO, drawing on 16 years of jewelry retail experience. The exact materials used in this piece are listed in the product description above.
Natural stones are individually unique. Subtle variations in color, tone, pattern, translucency, veining, inclusions and surface texture are part of their natural character and are not considered defects.
Because each piece is finished by hand, slight variations and visible traces of the making process may occur. Braided designs may show small secured or heat-finished thread ends, while hand-finished silver components may show subtle soldering, tooling, hammering or finishing marks. These are normal characteristics of handcrafted jewelry.
We photograph our pieces as accurately as possible, but actual colors may vary slightly because of natural material differences, lighting conditions and individual screen settings.
CARE & WEAR
Sterling silver naturally develops fine scratches, surface wear and oxidation over time. These changes are normal characteristics of the metal rather than manufacturing defects.
Silver is also relatively soft. Avoid repeatedly bending, twisting or over-opening adjustable silver components, clasps or fittings. Open them only as much as necessary for comfortable wear.
Avoid excessive pulling, impact and prolonged contact with water, perfume, cosmetics or household chemicals.
Damage caused by excessive force, improper handling or normal wear is not considered a manufacturing defect.
